After taking a Skillshare class to work on some skills, I created the image above.  A friend who is a local ESL teacher asked if she could purchase one for her classroom. She works with children in Charlottesville who come from around the world. I created prints and with her class in mind, decided to donate $5 from each poster to International Neighbors. International Neighbors is a 501(c)(3) volunteer organization that works to equip refugee neighbors with the network and skills needed to move from surviving to thriving In Charlottesville.
The poster is available at the link below.
Printed on heavyweight white Strathmore paper.
$20 for each and $5 for shipping.  Locals can pick up on my porch.
$5 from each poster sold go to International Neighbors in Charlottesville, VA. (www.internationalneighbors.org)
The poster then inspired me to enter the Charlottesville City Art Bus competition.
Below are my entries.  Voting is closed and the winner will be announced soon!
